5 steps to illustrate with watercolours.
1. Enhance pencil sketch with detailed shapes, patterns, and symbols using a pen.
2. Add a left-sided shadow with watercolours to the dragonfly for depth.
3. Apply watercolors using a wet-on-dry technique, emphasizing dark on the left and light on the right.
4. Fine-tune color details with gouache and ink.
5. Use pen or paint to emphasize the last darkest and lightest layers for depth and contrast.
